For security reasons, updating your West Legal Directory profile with Profile Update requires a password. You select this password when you register. If you forget your password, you can reset it using the Account Maintenance page.
Complete the following steps to reset your password:
On the Welcome to Profile Update page, click the link under Request Your Password. The Did you forget your password? page is displayed.
Type your email address in the Login (Email) text box.
Type the verification text in the Retype text from above text box.
Note: The verification text is case-sensitive.
Click Submit. A page instructing you to check your e-mail is displayed.
A Password Reminder is sent to the email address you provided in step 2 with further instructions.
In the Password Reminder email, click the link to reset your password. The page to provide your new password is displayed.
Note: This link is valid for 24 hours. If the link expires, you must start the registration process again from the beginning.
Type your new password in the New Password and Retype New Password text boxes.
Click Change. A message is displayed indicating the password has been changed for your login.
Note: You will need to close the page and open Profile Update (http://profileupdate.findlaw.com) in a new browser window.
