Finding and Claiming an Attorney Profile

After you have logged in to Profile Update and completed the security steps, you can find and claim your profile.

  1. On the Claim a Profile to Update page, select the Attorney update option when prompted and click Continue. The Find Your Attorney Profile page is displayed. See Update Options for more information.
  2. On the Find You Attorney Profile page, type your first and last name. See Profile Search Tips for more information about entering search criteria.

Type a city name in the City text box, or select a state or province, or country from the appropriate drop-down lists to narrow your search.

  1. Click Find. The Select Your Profile page is displayed showing a list of the profiles matching your search criteria is displayed.

Note  Click a profile name to view a profile.

  1. Do one of the following:

If you are a sole practitioner, the Select Your Profile page displays with options to claim a sole practitioner profile or an individual profile. Claiming the sole practitioner profile allows you to update both the organization and individual information in the profile.

Note  The organization's main office is displayed in bold. Select this profile if you want rights to update the main office profile, as well as all affiliated branch office and individual profiles.
